Narrative

Mary Anne was the daughter of Major Jeremiah Wilkes Dewson and Elizabeth Kinsey, who were married in England in 1811.[1] She was born in Ireland where her father was stationed with his regiment.[2] Mary Anne married George Taylor Denison, a Toronto lawyer, landowner and militia officer, in 1838. [3] They raised a large family at their estate, "Rusholme," in west Toronto, Ontario.[4]

Mary Anne died in Toronto in 1900.[5]
