Cause of death cited on death certificate states Bronchopneumonia, Chronic Pyelonephritis and Generalized Arteriosclerosis. It also states he was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, which is likely the reason why he was at Essondale.

As far as where he buried, this is unknown. No one claimed him or signed for him on the death certificate, and it appears his remains were 'removed' by the S. Bowell & Sons (undertaker).
